Dr Pandey is a Fulbright Fellow from Michigan State University, an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar.

Before joining academics, he worked full-time for a decade handling Supply Chain, Production and Marketing functions at leading Indian corporate houses and MNCs.
